Images in this gallery will be changed as we process more photographs and negatives. The work stalls and restarts as time permits but with approximately 5,000 images in the Harry Stilson collection, the end is nowhere in sight. The image above is a view of Richmond in June 1920. It was taken from the roof of the Export Leaf Tobacco stemmery building on the southwest corner of Lombardy and Leigh streets and is looking southeasterly. The tall building on the right is now Johnson Hall, near Laurel and Franklin.
